On our way to drop Phil off at home in Gateshead we heard a car smash into the railings just off one of the roundabouts and the two men in the car got out very quickly and dissapeared.

Obviously we decided to snoop so Leanne and I came back along that way after dropping Phil off and spoke to the very lovely policeman and are now waiting for our community action trust rewards !

Good work ladies! FNE heroines of the week, I feel a new thread coming on

I sooooooo wanted to press all the weird buttons in the policecar..........no idea what they did they just really looked great fun :D

Hi guys.... My mate Carl has suggested the following zombie films for our next Fright Night. Let me know if you have any preferences and I will ask to borrow them. Don't forget we need one comedy one (I hear Dead and Breakfast is a horror musical - lol):

Night of the living dead
Dawn of the dead
Dawn of the dead remake
Land of the Dead
Dead & Breakfast
Nightmare City [not really zombies more maniacs, like 28 days…]
28 days later [not zombies but similar]
28 weeks later [as above]
Zombie Flesh Eaters
Zombi 2 [sequel to above]
Zombi 3
Bio Zombie [hong kong zombie comedy. V V Good]
Wild Zero [Japanese. Region 1 only Japanese rock band fight against alien zombie invaders]
Shaun of the Dead
The Beyond
City of the Living Dead
The Grapes of Wrath

Afraid I don't have anywhere to host a Fright Night at the moment, unless I can get my parents to go away for a night/weekend... But that is very unlikely in the forseeable future with two new puppies in the house... hey ho!!!

If Dom wanted a break, there's always room at mine. I can manage the same sort of numbers (about 8 total).

I can host too at some point and I have loads of space behind the sofa = however the resident big fluffy monster may also be lurking there..

Hmmm - can it double as a cushion? ;-)

And what sort of fluffy monsters do you keep behind the sofa?

Excellent idea! He weighs it at over a stone so yes he could certainly double at a cushion as long as claws aren't an issue..

Was thinking of organising the next in May.

Options are:

1) Grab a hold of the video Room at Tillys;
2) Hold at the usual location
3) Hold at a new location.

I'm kind of thinking that I try and gt a hold of the video room at Tillys and see how that goes, means that we can open it up for more people other than the usual crew. But let me know your thoughts.

On another note - Zombieland arrived in the post yesterday morning :D

need to read through the list of zombie films and work out which ones to vote for.

and i think at some point we should have a day of the dead showing.

All options sound good to me! No help there then.. Tilleys may need to be films we aren't too bothered to see as it lends itself to people getting distracted by chatting and noise from the bar but we could give it a go.

Day of the dead day (!) sounds great and what is Zombieland? Is it a new one?

Zombieland is mint (newish Woody Harrelson film) cant say much more without spoiling it. But it is very funny.
