I'll ask around at work i know a few of them are keen photographers in their spare time.

Cheers Phil. We'll have a look at any avenue.

Really we just want a load of pics taken and then given to us on disc so we can sort them out ourselves. Will only need someone for about 3 hours.

My brother is trying to expand his profile so would possibly be very cheap, He hasnt done any weddings but has done family photos as well as landscape etc, If you already know what kind of photos your after im sure he could do it, i will ask him if you like as another avenue?

Hi Vicky,

I think we've just found a photographer this afternoon. Although we've not got an appt with her for a week. But if it falls thru I'll certainly be in touch.
Thanks :D

I went to a wedding recently where they didn't have a photographer just friends & family taking photos & they collected everyones. It's something to consider if you're on a tight budget.

It's not so much the budget, it's just me begrudging handing over £500 + for to be handed back 20 photos. Totally rediculous! But we've found a semi pro who will give us a disc instead of pics, quite cheap. The evening do will be friends and family taking the picks. So all in all very happy :D

I have a contact at work who also does photography on the side as a part time business. Not sure what his prices are like, but I know he's just starting out but his photos are great. He's quite often on the look out for subjects to practice on on Facebook, so still think he's building up his portfolio

His name is Paul Townsend. I can get in touch with him to ask him about a deal if you're interested, just let me know.

a bit cheesey - but couple of cheap disposable cameras on the reception tables worthwhile. So, you have to throw away a few strange pics taken by drunken Granny, but you do get plenty of lovely casual family pics in there all the same!
