EVENT Laugh at me at the Dog & Parrot! 20 January

As part of leaving Newcastle this month, I'm ticking off all the "must do" items on my local list - one of which has always been stand-up comedy at the Dog & Parrot! They've been kind enough to put me in among a roster of experienced local comedians and it should be a fun night. I can't quite believe I've done this but in for a penny, in for a pound...

So if you want to come down and laugh with (or at) me, please drop in. It will be my first go at live comedy and it would be great to look out in the audience and see some friendly faces supporting me. Failing that it would be good to see you guys instead Wink

Venue: Dog & Parrot pub, opposite the Centre for Life

Car parking: parking available around the station and in town

Date: 20 January 2009

Time/meetingplace: 8pm downstairs in the D&P for a drink, 9pm for the comedy upstairs (finishes by 11)

Price: a very reasonable 2 quid!

Maximum numbers: N/A
